Canada-wide warrant issued for a man wanted in fatal stabbing

A Canada-wide warrant has been issued for the arrest of a 25-year-old man in connection with the fatal stabbing of a Nigerian student in June.

Tamar Cupid is wanted by police for second-degree murder.

On June 25 at around 7:10 p.m., police were called to the Eglinton Avenue East and Brimley Road area for a stabbing.

It is alleged that two men were involved in an altercation in a parking lot.

Officers located a man with injuries. He was rushed to hospital where he died.

The victim has been identified as 28-year-old Ifeanyichukwu Oseke, who was a student from Nigeria.
