For the first time, a mobile application will help guide Stampede-goers around the grounds, noting locations of fun food items, times of performances and information on other attractions.

Within the app, patrons will find a list of events taking place on any given day of the Stampede and a search function, allowing them to create their own personalized journey of the grounds throughout the day.
“There is something for everyone at the Calgary Stampede, and our new app is your digital tour guide to see, taste and experience everything The Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth has to offer,” says Meghan Kivisto, the Stampede’s director of marketing and sponsorship. “From checking showtimes to buying rodeo tickets, our new app makes it easy to plan your day and personalize your experience, so you don’t miss a minute of the fun.”

“The Calgary Stampede app is a great example of how organizations of all sizes, even those with a century of history, can leverage technology to better serve their customers,” said O’Gorman.
The app’s digital map will help folks find their way around as construction on the BMO Centre expansion again disrupts the once-familiar landscape of Stampede Park, displacing some yearly attractions from their typical locations. The expansion is expected to be completed ahead of the 2024 Stampede.
The app is available now on the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store. The Stampede takes place this year from July 7 to 16.
