Sky News host Rowan Dean has slammed Behind the News as the “propaganda arm” behind the ABC after its coverage of the Israel-Hamas conflict focused on humanitarian aid efforts in Gaza.
The program, which is aimed at school-age children, developed a news package which focused on aid being delivered to the Gaza Strip but made little reference to the terrorist attack by Hamas on October 7.
The news program also pointed out that Israel’s decision to allow aid convoys into Gaza was made after lots of international pressure.
“Look how they are teaching your kids about what the Palestine-Israel conflict is all about,” Mr Dean said.
“You don’t need to be more diverse, ABC, you need to be defunded, privatised and sold off on a subscription model.”
