The Rail Infrastructure Improvement Firm (Karnataka) Ltd (Ok-RIDE) has introduced that the Indian Air Pressure (IAF) has signed a memorandum of understanding with it for handing over the latter’s land at Jalahalli in Bengaluru for the suburban rail venture.
A press launch issued by Ok-RIDE on Friday stated, “The corridor-2 line, or the Mallige line, of the Bengaluru Suburban Rail Mission of round 25.2 km from Benniganahalli to Chikkabanavara, at present underway, is progressing considerably. It has efficiently transitioned from the drafting board to the execution section.”
Ok-RIDE officers stated that land acquisition, boundary wall development and different preliminary work reminiscent of surveys, geo-technical investigation and the preparation of a ground-penetration report had been accomplished.
