Former Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai on Monday blamed the negligence of BBMP officers for the rain havoc that claimed the lifetime of a lady in Bengaluru on Sunday.
“The BBMP officers had did not take up precautionary measures regardless of the warning by the India Meteorological Division about heavy rain. It was painful {that a} girl misplaced her life although the rains lashed just for just a few hours,” he advised presspersons.
Declaring that the Climate Division has predicted rains for the subsequent 5 days, Mr. Bommai urged Chief Minister Siddaramaiah to take rapid steps in the direction of precautionary measures.
