Commsec’s Craig James says futures are suggesting the Australian market will begin with a “flat start” this morning.
“The share price index on the futures exchange pointing to a gain of just five points at the start of trade or one-tenth of one per cent,” Mr James said.
“Follows a mixed lead-in from the United States and Europe.”
A batch of companies reported their earnings results on Friday, including Delta Airlines, UnitedHealth, Wells Fargo and JPMorgan Chase.
