Just a few adventurous otters went for a playful splash within the pool of a St Francis Bay house lately, and the householders caught them red-handed.
Not less than 5 Cape clawless otters have been seen swimming and frolicking within the pool, and ‘residing their greatest lives’ as one TikTok person commented. The video was shared by Wildly Africa.

The Cape clawless otter, often known as the African clawless otter (Aonyx Capensi), is a shy, larger-than-you’d-expect animal that’s each nocturnal and diurnal. It’s the largest freshwater species after the South American otter.
Sadly, their inhabitants is slowly lowering and in 2014, Cape clawless otters have been listed as close to threatened by the Worldwide Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN).
