ARLINGTON — Three people were found dead in a shooting Thursday night at an apartment complex in Arlington, Texas, authorities said.
Arlington police said the shooting was reported at about 8:30 p.m. local time on the city’s south side.
A witness called 911 saying he heard something. When he went to see what it was, he found a man lying unresponsive outside an apartment. The witness also said the door to the apartment was kicked in.
Officers arrived at the 3500 block of Chatham Green Lane to find the man with a gunshot wound. They also found another man and a woman in the apartment with gunshot wounds.
Police say there were two children at the apartment. They were not injured and have since been released to family members.
Police did not immediately identify the victims, or provide information on what led up to the shooting, or a possible motive.
No arrests have yet been made, police said. Witnesses told police they saw a man running from the scene.
