Two people were arrested and a pair of local homes raided by Sherbrooke police on Thursday as part of a months-long investigation into a drug trafficking ring.
The raids saw police seize 3,196 methamphetamine tablets, 340 contraband cigarettes, an electric stun gun and $8,435 in cash.

The suspects, a 52-year-old man and a 48-year-old woman, have been released pending their next court appearances and could face charges of possession of a prohibited weapon, drug trafficking and breaking release conditions.
Sherbrooke police said their investigation was aided by tips from the public.
