RRB NTPC Recruitment 2024: The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has commenced the application process for the Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) recruitment. The recruitment drive aims to fill approximately 11,558 vacancies for both graduate and undergraduate positions.

What educational qualifications are needed for various RRB NTPC posts?
As per the RRB NTPC 2024 eligibility criteria, for graduate posts, candidates should have a bachelor’s degree from a recognised university and for undergraduate posts, candidates must have completed the Class 12 from a recognised board.
What is the exam format for the RRB NTPC 2024 recruitment?
There shall be two stages Computer Based Test (CBTs) followed by the Computer-based Aptitude Test (CBAT)/ Typing Skill Test (TST) wherever applicable for the posts. The examination duration will be 120 minutes for eligible PwBD candidates accompanied with scribe.
–Computer based aptitude test is for candidates applying for station master (SM) posts. Candidates will have to qualify in each of the test batteries of CBAT for considering them for the post of SM. The CBAT will have questions and answer options only in English and Hindi. There shall be no negative marking in CBAT.
— Typing skill test for senior clerk cum typist, junior account assistant cum typist. The candidates should be able to type 30 words per minute (WPM) in English or 25 WPM in Hindi on personal computer only without editing tools and spell check facility.
— For goods train manager, senior commercial cum ticket supervisor, there shall be two stage CBTs followed by document verification and medical examination.
Shortlisting of candidates for various stages shall be based on the normalised marks obtained by them whenever CBT is conducted in multiple sessions for the same syllabus.
How will the admit card be released for RRB NTPC 2024 ?
SMS and email messages will be sent to all eligible candidates about the e-call letter and upload details on their registered mobile number and email account. No call letter will be sent by post.
What are the minimum qualifying marks for the RRB NTPC 2024 exam in the first stage CBT?
The normalised score of 1st stage CBT shall be used for short listing of candidates for 2nd stage CBT as per their merit.
Is there a negative marking in the RRB NTPC 2024 exam?
There will be negative marking and 1/3 mark shall be deducted for each wrong answer.

What are the medical requirements for different RRB NTPC posts?
Candidates who have undergone lasik surgery or any other surgery procedure to correct refractory error are eligible for the post(s) having medical standard B-2, C-2 . Candidates who want to know more about are advised to visit the brochure and read annexure 7 about the conditions of lasik surgery.
Candidates are advised to ensure that they are eligible as per the medical standards for the post(s) opted by them. In case of failure of the candidate to pass the prescribed medical fitness for the opted posts, he will not be considered suitable for empanelment for that post and no alternate appointment will be provided.
