In a joint operation by the Delhi police and a few NGOs, 41 youngster labourers have been rescued from toy factories in Delhi’s Azad Market. The operation was launched by Arvind Rana, SDM Kotwali Darya Ganj, Labour division, Bal Vikas Dhara, Nobel laureate Kailash Satyarthi’s Bachpan Bachao Andolan (BBA) and a police staff late on Tuesday.Â
Within the operation, 12 factories on Ram Bagh Highway in Azad Market have been sealed. FIRs have been registered in opposition to the homeowners of the factories in Bara Hindu Rao Police Station. He ordered the police to register FIRs in opposition to the employers below the Bonded Labour Act, Little one Labour Act, JJ Act and Trafficking Act.Â
