Three folks together with a lady misplaced their lives after lightning struck induced by Kaal Baisakhi at totally different locations underneath Saranakula police limits in Nayagarh district on Tuesday, police stated.
The deceased have been recognized as Padma Pradhan (35) of Jakeda, Jitendra Dora (21) of Mahulia, and Dhaneswar Parida (70) of Bhaliadihi, stories stated.
Although they had been instantly rushed to the district headquarters hospital, they had been declared lifeless by the attending medical doctors.
Padma was struck by lightning whereas she was working within the subject.
Equally, stories added that Dhaneswar was hit by lightning whereas he was grazing his cows within the subject.
