Explaining the unique idea of the curation, she continued, “It was Laura Avedon’s thought to ask folks to contribute and inform us what their favourite Avedon {photograph} was, and that [became] the curatorial idea of the present. We wished a mission that might converse to Avedon’s resonance at present and the place we’re at present and thought, What’s higher than one voice? A number of voices.”

“That is the primary exhibition I’ve labored on in a curatorial schtick,” Blasberg defined. “Within the ’90s, rising up in St. Louis—I’m pre-digital—I needed to uncover Richard Avedon in magazines.
